Alicia Cone, LMHC Intern

As an LMHC Intern, I am passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and strive for growth, healing, and resilience. I believe that every client brings unique strengths and experiences to the counseling process, and my goal is to create a safe, empathetic, and nonjudgmental environment where those strengths can be recognized and expanded.

I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Merrimack College, with an anticipated graduation in May 2026. My academic training and internship at North Shore Clinician’s Group have provided me with a strong foundation in evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. Through coursework and professional development, I continue to expand my skills across diverse counseling areas.

At NSCG, I work with both adults and adolescents, providing individual counseling under the supervision of experienced clinicians. In this role, I support treatment planning and help clients develop coping strategies for managing stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I am passionate about building strong therapeutic relationships based on trust, empathy, and respect. I strive to meet clients where they are, adjusting interventions to their unique needs and goals. I am deeply committed to ongoing growth as a counselor through continuing education, supervision, and reflective practice.
