Maureen Keene, CMHC
With over 40 years of experience in the field of Human Services, including Hospice care, I bring a deep understanding of life’s transitions, grief, and the resilience of the human spirit. My work in human services has given me skills in crisis intervention, advocacy, case management, and community support—skills that now guide my work as a clinical mental health counselor.
I provide counseling for children, adolescents, teens, adults, and couples, supporting those navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach is integrative and tailored, drawing from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), the Gottman Method, person-centered, and strength-based approaches.
In my spare time I enjoy hiking and listening to a variety of music genres. Both of these past times helped me to be focused and appreciative of the present.
I strongly believe that healing happens within a safe, supportive, and collaborative relationship. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered as we work together toward meaningful change, resilience, and well-being.
