Caroline Weissman, LICSW
My intention is to bring warmth, compassion, and curiosity to the therapeutic space. I see therapy as a collaborative process, bringing in relevant clinical knowledge and training, yet always centering the client as the expert on their own life.
As a clinical social worker, it is my privilege to connect with individuals and couples to co-create a path toward growth. I enjoy helping clients develop a greater understanding of themselves, cope more effectively with life stressors, build healthier relationships, and improve their overall wellbeing.
My clinical experience includes working with people struggling with grief and loss, life transitions, relationship issues, PTSD or complex trauma, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. The primary treatment modalities I utilize include Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, CBT, DBT, mindfulness training, and the Gottman Method with couples.
I provide both individual and couples therapy, and work with teens and adults. I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions.
