I began my academic journey at Suffolk University in Boston, initially undecided about my career path. After taking my first psychology course, I discovered my passion for the field. In 2002, I graduated with a major in psychology (child development track) and a minor in criminal justice.
I went on to earn my Master’s in Social Work from Simmons School of Social Work in 2004. During graduate training, I completed internships at the Bell Elementary School in Marblehead and at Massachusetts General Hospital’s outpatient services in Chelsea. At the same time, I worked on the inpatient unit at North Shore Medical Center, Salem Hospital, gaining valuable experience in acute psychiatric care. After graduation, I transitioned to the emergency department at Salem Hospital, where I provided psychiatric triage and conducted risk assessments from 2004 to 2011.
In February 2011, my husband and I founded North Shore Clinicians Group (NSCG). Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children as young as four and adults over the age of 100. Through this experience, I discovered that my deepest passion lies in supporting older adults. Today, I dedicate my clinical work to serving clients in assisted living settings, where I focus on helping seniors maintain their emotional well-being, resilience, and quality of life.
